The 2016 7th Grade Champions from Bedford Junior High School.
The Monroe County Intermediate School District has been hosting & coordinating the annual Quiz Bowl Tournament since 2006. Our students truly enjoy participating in Quiz Bowl. The growth in popularity among schools is evident by the increases in student participation which quadrupled from 108 students in 2006 to over 400 students in 2014. In 2011, we began televising the the Middle School Championship matches. In 2012, a High School Tournament was added, and in 2014 we sent the High School Quiz Bowl Champions from Monroe County to the State Tournament at Michigan State University.
Quiz Bowl stresses the importance of academics, individual achievement, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. It provides opportunities for the community to get involved with staff & students.
